I'm sure others make mistakes too, but it's one thing to know that and another to have someone tell you about their experience directly! <br /><br />I will try to keep that in mind - I walked a different dog to the park the other day and yet again, watching her,decided to hang around outside. It was tempting to try to take her in anyway as I haven't gotten to do that yet... But I have to wait, because canines are not toys and someone could get hurt! The fortunate thing is that dogs forgive very easily, and it's obvious that you learn fast. <br /><br />I think that taking it slow and easy with a fearful dog, just like you've been doing, is usually best. My motto is that "it's always Shyla's choice" - I remember that whenever we run into something that she's afraid of.
